The Heart Behind MIMOH bydr.ellie

For as long as I can remember, my mission has been to help people heal. As a licensed acupuncturist since 2008 and a mom, I have spent years supporting others through pain, imbalance, and stress. My treatment room became a place where people could finally exhale, feel heard, and reconnect with themselves.
Over time, I realized healing is not just physical. It's emotional, energetic, and spiritual. It's not just about fixing something that's broken. It's about nurturing the whole person. That belief is what inspired me to create MIMOH.
MIMOH (미모) means physical attractiveness in Korean. However, to me, it means something deeper. I created MIMOH to redefine what beauty really means. Not just the surface, but the harmony beneath it.
In Eastern medicine, we talk about balance—yin and yang, the internal and external, the seen and unseen. True beauty comes from that balance. When the body and mind are in harmony, when energy flows freely, you don’t just look better, you feel whole.
My hope is to create a space where beauty and healing are one. Where taking care of yourself is not about chasing perfection, but about returning to yourself. Where rituals are rooted in intention, not trends. Where outer glow comes from inner balance.
With gratitude,
